Overview
This page explains your right to withdraw from an order, how to return goods purchased from tdscoffee bv, and how refunds are handled. It supplements section 8 of our Terms and Conditions and does not limit any rights you have under Belgian and EU consumer protection law.
This policy applies to orders placed through our webshop, whether shipped to you or collected in our shop.
Your right of withdrawal (14 days)
As a consumer, you have the right to withdraw from your order within 14 days without giving any reason.
The withdrawal period expires 14 days from the day on which you, or a third party other than the carrier and indicated by you, take physical possession of the goods.
To exercise your right of withdrawal, use our withdrawal form. You are also free to inform us of your decision to withdraw by any other clear, unambiguous statement, for example by contacting us through our contact page. As soon as we receive your withdrawal request, we will send you a confirmation of receipt by email.
To meet the withdrawal deadline, it is enough to send your withdrawal notice before the 14-day period has expired.
Returning goods
If you withdraw from your order, you must send the goods back to us or hand them over to us without undue delay, and in any event within 14 days of informing us of your withdrawal. This deadline is met if you send the goods back before the 14-day period has expired.
You will have to bear the direct cost of returning the goods. We may withhold your refund until we have received the goods back, or until you have provided proof that you have sent them back, whichever is earlier.
You are only liable for any reduction in the value of the goods resulting from handling beyond what is necessary to establish their nature, characteristics, and how they work. To help us process your return quickly, please return goods in their original packaging where possible.
Refunds
If you withdraw from your order, we will reimburse all payments received from you, including the standard delivery costs (excluding any extra cost if you chose a delivery method other than our least expensive standard option), without undue delay and in any case within 14 days of the day we are informed of your decision to withdraw.
We will use the same payment method you used for the original transaction, unless we have expressly agreed otherwise with you. You will not be charged any fees for this reimbursement.
Exceptions to the right of withdrawal
Belgian and EU law provide for certain exceptions to the right of withdrawal, for example for goods made to your specifications or clearly personalised, and for sealed goods that are not suitable for return for health protection or hygiene reasons once unsealed after delivery. Where such an exception applies to a specific product, we will clearly indicate this on the product page before you order. Orders collected in our shop (local pickup)
If you choose to collect your order from our shop instead of having it shipped, the 14-day withdrawal period starts on the day you (or a third party you have indicated) take physical possession of the goods in-store. You can exercise your right of withdrawal in the same way as for a shipped order, using our withdrawal form.
Damaged, defective, or incorrect items
The right of withdrawal described above is separate from your statutory legal guarantee. If an item you receive is damaged, defective, or does not match your order, you are protected by the legal guarantee for consumer goods under Belgian law, which applies for two years from delivery. Please contact us via our contact page as soon as possible, describing the issue and, where possible, including photos, so we can offer a repair, replacement, or refund as appropriate.
