the coffee
We wanted a coffee that tastes like a little treat.
A sweet, easy-drinking espresso with just enough fruit and character to make it a little different. Something you can drink every day, but still want to come back to.
Our house blend brings together the rich, sweet character of Carmo de Cachoeira in Brazil, with a blend of Red Catuai, Yellow Bourbon, Mundo Novo and Acaia, alongside the bright fruit character of an Ethiopian Heirloom from Guji.
In the cup: milk chocolate, blueberry and ripe peach. Sweet, fruity and balanced.
We use it primarily as espresso, where the sweetness and fruit really shine, but it also makes a delicious filter coffee.
the roaster
Our house blend is roasted exclusively for tds. by Lot One Coffee Roasters, based right here in Ghent.
We share a lot with Lot One: the same curiosity, attention to detail and genuine obsession with coffee. We like to question things, experiment, get into the details and keep looking for ways to make coffee better.
With years of experience in coffee, Lot One brings the knowledge, precision and roasting expertise to turn our ideas into what ends up in the cup.
This is not just a coffee we buy from a roaster. It is a coffee we developed together, specifically for tds.
the blend
Brazil – Carmo de Cachoeira
Red Catuai, Yellow Bourbon, Mundo Novo & Acaia
Ethiopia – Guji
Heirloom
Together, these coffees create the balance we were looking for: the sweetness and comfort of chocolate, combined with the bright fruit character of blueberry and ripe peach.
the roast
This is a light roast espresso, developed to keep the coffee sweet, fruity and expressive while still giving it the structure needed for espresso.
Although espresso is its primary purpose, the blend also works beautifully as a filter coffee, bringing out even more of its fruity character.
