the coffee
This single-origin 74110 comes from the Lecho washing station in Uraga, Guji, Ethiopia. It was picked between December 2025 and February 2026 and shipped to the roaster by air, arriving in April 2026.
In the cup: coffee blossom, lychee, fragrant pear and green grape. A clean, delicate and floral coffee that shows the purity and elegance of a classic Ethiopian washed profile, rather than bold fermentation flavours.
74110 is one of the varieties selected by the Jimma Agricultural Research Center (JARC) in the 1970s, chosen for its resistance to coffee berry disease. Today it is widely grown in southern Ethiopia and known for its floral, tea-like character.
the roaster
Goût & Co is a specialty coffee roastery in Chengdu, China, founded in 2020 by Tong. Tong has a background in robotics engineering and discovered specialty coffee while studying in France, where he placed 3rd in the French Brewers Cup in 2018.
Goût & Co focuses on ultra-light roasting to bring out the terroir of each coffee. Every year they select more than 100 micro-lots from around the world, each with its own tailored roast profile.
the farm
This coffee is grown by smallholder farmers around the Lecho washing station in Uraga, a sub-region of Guji bordering Yirgacheffe, at 1,900 to 2,300 metres above sea level.
The farmers grow maize, beans and wheat alongside their coffee, and work in a traditional way: without chemical fertilisers or pesticides, and almost entirely by hand. According to Goût & Co, Lecho is a two-time winner of Taste of Harvest, the African specialty coffee competition.
the process
This coffee is fully washed.
In washed processing, the fruit is removed from the cherries and the beans are fermented to loosen the remaining mucilage, then washed clean before drying. This produces clean and transparent coffees, letting the character of the variety and the high altitude of Uraga come through clearly.
